Imaging findings are presented and discussed. Our case indicates that MHP should be considered in the differential Introduction. Similar to the hemangiopericytoma of soft tissues in pathological features, first reported by Stout and Murray (), intracranial meningeal hemangiopericytoma (M-HPC) is a rare mesenchymal tumor, possibly of pericytic origin in the meninges, which was initially described by Begg and Garret () in 1954. 2020;104(1):38. A case of pelvic hemangiopericytoma in a 59-year-old woman is reported. The MR imaging features are presented. The tumor was unresectable and the patient received postoperative irradiation of 4200 cGy on the pelvis. One year after diagnosis, metastasis to a lumbar vertebra was discovered and additional irradiation of 3900 cGy was applied.

Hemangiopericytoma is a rare (up to 1%) primary intracranial neoplasm. According to the WHO classification, hemangiopericytoma belongs to tumors of unknown origin, although some consider them to be histologically similar to angioblastic meningiomas. Purpose: To describe the MR and CT imaging features of hemangiopericytoma and to identify the characteristics that might distinguish them from meningioma. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the CT and MR findings in 34 pathologically proved cases of hemangiopericytoma. We evaluated the size, shape, and location of the tumor; the presence of Hemangiopericytoma has no predilection for age or sex; it was congenital in 3 of Stout's patients.

Hemangiopericytoma is a term formerly used to describe a continuum of mesenchymal tumors with elevated cellularity found throughout the body in soft tissue and bone. After many years of controversy, hemangiopericytomas have been shown to not only share histological features similar to solitary fibrous tumors but also similar genetic alteration: genomic inversion of 12q13 locus resulting in Hemangiopericytoma Deborah R. The US, Doppler and CT appearances in a patient with hemangiopericytoma of the greater omentum are presented. Ultrasound revealed a solid mass with heterogenous echo pattern, well-defined margins and marked vascularity with low impedance flow (mean resistive index 0.42). The tumour was mobile. It was detected below the left kidney at the first US examination and had migrated into the pelvis 14
